About Us

Grooming by Design is a family owned and operated mobile pet spa! We are a husband and wife team!  Jimmy is the groomer and Sabrina manages the appointments. We are both originally from San Diego .

We both come from families with extensive experience in the veterinary field.  We have a passion for animals and want to contribute to the health and happiness of all pets we care for.

Jimmy is an experienced veterinarian technician and dog grooming with over 10 years experience. He's worked side by side with his brother, a local OC veterinarian. Jimmy started grooming while working in various hospitals. He then started to work in a grooming salon in Newport Beach. While working in the salon, Jimmy decided that he wanted to open his own grooming business. That's how Grooming by Design was born!

Having received an art design degree from Cairo University, Jimmy is a groomer with an artistic eye. He has a calm and peaceful nature about him which all pets seem to love! He grooms with care and enjoys his job!
